The firm of DBA Accountants of Stirling, Western Australia, traces its history back to 1976. Back then, Murray Davey commenced practice and soon developed a group of clients mostly comprising motor cycle shops, rock & roll musicians and school teachers.
Today, the firm specialises in supporting businesses, professional people and investors in anything to do with their financial affairs. Our clients are primarily located in the greater Perth metropolitan area and near-country WA. We have smaller numbers of clients elsewhere in Australia and internationally.
In 1999, DBA absorbed the practice of Turk Ellis & Co. At the time, Turk and Murray had between them, 50 years in public practice. Turk retired from the firm in 2001 to pursue other business interests.
Jodie Hutton joined the team in 1998. She became a Director on 1 July 2003.
Our team is based in our offices at Stirling, WA. Team members work mostly in the office but also work from home, connected to our office computer system.
Owner and Director of the firm is Jodie Hutton.
At DBA Accountants, we do not take ourselves as individuals too seriously but we take our work very seriously indeed. Our work changes lives for the better.
Our Stirling office is set up in an open plan arrangement. Our purpose in doing this is to enable more or less instant communication between team members, to facilitate the flow of work, transmission of information, and the professional growth of all team members. It works for us but some of our colleagues are horrified that Murray and Jodie do not have offices with doors they can close to keep people out.
Where we are: Level 1, 43 Cedric Street, Stirling, WA, 6021.
